Yokohama Beach or Keawa’ula Bay is truly off the beaten path. Since it’s one of the most remote beaches on the island, it’s almost never crowded.
Yokohama Beach has soft white sand and with the backdrop of the Wai’anae Mountain Range this beach is ideal for some wonderful photos. The currents can get rough, and there is no shade on the beach so a tent and sunscreen is recommended. On calm days snorkeling and a visit to the tidepools can be fun.
Stay on H-1 until it ends and turns into the Farrington Hwy (Hwy 93). Follow the coast until the road ends at Keawa’ula Beach.
