Kapuaiwa in Moloka’i is one of Hawaii’s oldest coconut groves. The first coconuts were planted here in the 1860s by King Kamehameha V. Today, only a few hundred coconut trees remain at the grove.
If you visit this grove be aware of the possible dangers from the falling coconut. The silhouettes of the trees and breathtaking colors from the setting sun offer a spectacular view.
